This sleek three-bedroomed house from our Longhouse range is a slightly amended version of our popular LH102 model. By adding a dormer window, there’s space for an extra bedroom, and a shared upstairs bathroom.
The kitchen/dining area opens to a dramatic double-height vaulted living room, where a wood-burning stove is the focal point. Large areas of glazing open on to a deck, bringing the outside in. Ideally, the living room windows will frame the views while making best use of passive solar gain throughout the year. The downstairs bedroom is conveniently located next to the shower-room, and generous storage is provided.
A feature stair from the dining room leads to the attic space and the upstairs bedrooms, which enjoy twin roof-lights, plus built-in drawers and cupboards. The upstairs bathroom is shared – perfect for families – and sits between the bedrooms.
Our eco-friendly designs, inspired by traditional Hebridean architecture, are sympathetic to the landscape and can be readily adapted to your specific location and requirements.
