This four or five bedroom variant upon our popular LH202 model adds both a box dormer to the roof and a rear porch extension which, combined with extra length to the building, allows for an extra upstairs bedroom plus utility/cloak room, storage and a larger kitchen/dining area, with more workspace and room for a larger table. There is also an option with a home office or fifth bedroom.
The master bedroom, with optional en-suite, has a loft ladder providing access to roof space storage above. Alternatively, this room could be used as a TV or family room. The second downstairs bedroom is conveniently located next to the shower-room, and are more generously proportioned – as is the kitchen/living area.
The double-height living room, with its vaulted ceiling and wood-burning stove, forms the home’s natural focal point. Large areas of glazing open onto a deck, bringing the outside in. Ideally, the living room windows will frame the views while making best use of passive solar gain throughout the year.
Our eco-friendly designs, inspired by traditional Hebridean architecture, are sympathetic to the landscape and can be readily adapted to your specific location and requirements.
